In this latest mystery, set in a Victorian era prison, a warden in Pentonville named Leonard Corcoran was found strangled in the visitor's room of the prison. After the initial investigations, it was determined that he was strangled with his own manacles.

 Yet there are only two possible suspects: a prisoner and the prison's governor.
