Ok, another day, another Zvery. I dreaded this one because..., well you'll see. Here's Ionora:

It is a chameleon that can blend in with an aurora. Well, nothing too special, but I guess it's on theme for plasma. In any case, I had attempted to make an aurora before. Sadly, it turned out not good. This is Kaurybri, a hummingbird with aurora wings, which don't really look like auroras. I just couldn't wrap my head around it. So I was kind of avoiding Ionora. "But you don't have to do an aurora if you don't want." That's especially why I needed to do it. And I think it turned out pretty well. Or, at least recognizable, which is more than I can say for Kaurybri. 

I started with the general shape again. I knew I wanted to exaggerate the eyes, but it made the rest look boring. So I added these big triangular spikes and changed their color. I still started in grey scale, of course, and it's really fun. I feel like it makes it easier to focus on the big picture. All in all, I think Ionora turned out pretty well.
